Physical Factors That Can Lead to Panic Attack

Did you know that panic attacks are not just caused by psychological factors? Panic attack is usually associated from fear or phobia. There are some situations that an experience can cause traumatic situation that leads to phobias. Once the experience reoccurs, the panic attack is triggered. This is why some experts believe that panic attack can be prevented if the phobia is overcome. However, panic attacks are cause by other factors, including physical factors.

It is already a stated fact that our body undergoes different changes due to different factors. When our body experiences a significant change, it may have a panic attack. It gets frightened and too confuse about the situation. If it views the change negatively, then the panic attack is triggered. Most of the time the panic attack is triggered by imaginary or irrational fear. This means the initiators of the panic attack are unknown.

Most often, we undergo physical changes due to insufficient amount of essential nutrients. We lack the capacity to do our daily activities if don't ingest the right amount of vitamins and minerals. If we keep on pushing and pushing our body, we will trigger panic attack. In this situation, the panic attack is triggered to help us realize that our body had enough already and it will have to save itself.

If we don't consume enough vitamins and minerals, our body will be at risk to numerous health complications. If we get too sick due to insufficient amount of nutrients, we may suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. From this point on, we may trigger a panic attack every time we don't consume sufficient nutrients.

Some medications can also cause panic attacks. The body has different reactions to different medications. Without proper prescription, the body may not recognize the medication and may view it as a threat. As a protective measure, the body will have panic attack. There is another factor that causes panic attack and is related to medication. Obviously, panic attack may occur during withdrawal state.

During withdrawal state, the body will be in the state of shock due to changes. It will hyperventilate and then trigger a panic attack. Other than medications, too much alcohol and drugs can also cause panic attacks. If you think that you will have a panic attack, seek medical help immediately before things get worse. - 30415
